Dr. Cynthia E. Orozco “Adela Sloss-Vento”

Join us for a talk and book signing presented by Dr. Cynthia E. Orozco for her new release “Adela Sloss-Vento: Mexican American Civil Rights Activist and Texas Feminist”. Dr. Orozco is Professor of History and Humanities at Eastern New Mexico University in Ruidoso and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and UCLA. She has also authored the book “No Mexicans, Women or Dogs Allowed: The Rise of the Mexican American Civil Rights Movement”

This event is included with regular museum admission. As always, Ruidoso Downs residents are only $1.
